## How Noda works

1. You ask A question about a grid, a site or a market, in your own words.
2. Noda AI reads Grid operator maps, capacity lists, registers and permit rules, plus the files you add.
3. You watch it work Each search, document and check shows in the chat as it runs.
4. You get the work An answer that names its sources, a map in your project and files to download.

**AI can make mistakes.** Noda AI can misread a document, miss a newer one or get a number wrong. Check the figures your decision rests on before you sign, bid or invest. A report is a screening tool, not an operator study or an engineering sign-off.

### Does Noda train AI models on my data?

Noda does not train AI models on your chats or files. Anthropic does not train on them, and for the model Noda uses it does not store prompts or answers by default ([Anthropic's policy](https://platform.claude.com/docs/en/manage-claude/api-and-data-retention)). The background steps run only on OpenRouter providers that do not store or train on the data.

### Where is my data stored?

On Noda's servers at Hetzner in Germany: the database, your files and the backups. The AI and search companies under Subprocessors receive the text they work on, such as a request or a search query.

### How do I delete my data?

You can delete a project in the app. To delete your account, write to [hello@noda.energy](mailto:hello@noda.energy?subject=Delete%20my%20account).

### I found a security problem. How do I tell you?
